Relax. BS stands for Belief System.
Every one of us carries one. It's the pile of stories we picked up from parents, teachers, bosses, bad breaks, and the evening news, then quietly accepted as the truth about who we are and what's possible.
"I'm not a numbers person."
"People like me don't do that."
"It's too late to start over."
"Who do you think you are?"
Nobody hands you these on purpose. You absorb them. Then they start making decisions for you. Which calls you don't make. Which ideas stay in the notebook. What price you're scared to charge.
That's the BS. We're drowning in it.
Here's the good news: a belief is a story, and stories get rewritten all the time.
One belief per issue. Taken apart.
- Names it. One common story that keeps capable people stuck, said out loud.
- Traces it. Where a story like this usually comes from, and why it made sense at the time.
- Tests it. Is it true? What does the evidence in your own life say?
- Gives you a move. One small action this week that argues with the old story. Small beats dramatic.

Fear feels like a stop sign. Often it's a signal that you're close to something that matters. Here's how to tell fear that's protecting you apart from fear that's only protecting the old story.

Here's what I believe after all of it: strategy is rarely what stops people. The story they tell themselves about the strategy usually is.
I say all that to say... the stories you've been carrying can be put down. This newsletter is where we practice doing it, one at a time.
Break through one belief at a time.
